Paul was born on  6 September 1942  and passed away 9 August 2021 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the age of 78.

Paul  joined OOTC in 1987 and sang in the  baritone section for over 30 yrs. He always arrived early and was the last one to leave staying to help straighten up and making sure that lights were turned-off.  We will miss his sense of humor, strong and reliable voice, and careful attention to both the music and dialect. 

To honor Paul and at his request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to  a variety of non-profits including Our Own Thing Chorale. We are honored to be one of Paul's designated organizations.

Paul loved African American Spirituals and music in general. He created a long list of sacred choral pieces and hymns that he wanted us to listen to as we celebrate his life including pieces that he performed with the Chorale.
